“Want the scoop on Detective Conan File 1147?”

“Looking for Sunday Conan 1147 spoilers and theories?”

The previous mini-arc (Files 1144–1146) delivered a game-changer: RUM and supposedly dead FBI agent André Camel came face-to-face.

Conan also recovered crucial memories about the Black Organization, leaving readers on edge about what comes next.

File 1147 picks up right where that cliff-hanger ended.

Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Detective Conan Chapter 1147.

Detective Conan File 1147 “Crucial Moment of Chaos” – Spoilers

The story resumes immediately after File 1146. As André Camel opens the apartment door, he nearly collides with Kanenori Wakita (RUM) and warns:

“It’s dangerous to stand right in front of the door.”

That single line sparks the memory of their first encounter two years ago.

1147 Spoiler ① – Camel and RUM Recognize Each Other

Camel studies Wakita’s face and realizes the sushi chef is the same “elderly man” he met during Akai’s failed sting operation.

Conversely, Wakita—secretly RUM—instantly confirms that Camel is the FBI agent thought dead after the “Black Organization’s Scheme” incident.

RUM thinks, “Camel was supposed to be shot… Is Shuichi Akai still alive?”

With bodyguards nearby, RUM plots to kidnap Camel on the spot and interrogate him about how he survived—and whether Akai is truly still out there.

1147 Spoiler ② – Conan Briefs Camel in Secret

Earlier, Conan whispered to Camel to pretend they didn’t know each other. Thanks to the prearranged signal, Wakita never realizes they’re allies—proof Conan doesn’t trust him one bit.

Just then, the Detective Boys call from the park to say the case is wrapped up. Haibara and Ayumi invite Conan to head home together, but he declines: “The police might want a statement.” The line abruptly cuts off.

1147 Spoiler ③ – Camel Faces a Kidnapping Attempt?

Camel races down the stairs to phone Shuichi Akai—but finds he has no signal. A black SUV screeches to a halt in front of him. Before he can react, an apartment resident named Yuu Kurei taps his shoulder:

“Aren’t you a friend of Mr. Shukawa?”

Still confused, Camel follows Kurei to a first-floor unit—unaware that RUM has already arranged a snatch team, complete with signal jamming and the black vehicle. Kurei’s sudden appearance derails the abduction plan, at least for the moment.

1147 Spoiler ④ – A New Mystery Unfolds

Kurei escorts Camel to apartment 103, belonging to Shukawa. Loud noises echo inside. Another gamer neighbor, Michiya Atobe from unit 101, arrives with the landlady. After repeated knocks, there’s no reply, so they unlock the door—only to find the chain engaged. Through the gap they glimpse someone hanging.

Camel forces the chain and bursts in. Shukawa hangs from the ceiling; a note on the desk reads, “I can’t do this anymore. It’s over.” Everyone assumes suicide—until Conan declares:

“This is… a locked-room murder!”

To be continued in File 1148…

Detective Conan File 1147 “Turning Point in Chaos” – Review & Theories

The new arc just went from tense to critical. In the direct follow-up to File 1146, FBI agent André Camel and Kanenori Wakita—better known as RUM, No. 2 of the Black Organization—finally recognize each other. RUM proves once again that a high-ranking operative never leaves loose ends.

1147 Review & Theory ① – Camel’s Brush With Death

When the black SUV screeched to a halt in front of Camel, it looked like game over.

RUM identified him, jammed all signals, and called in an abduction van within seconds.

The efficiency was terrifying. Camel survived only because a new incident inside the building derailed the plan—but the danger is far from over.

1147 Review & Theory ② – Camel Scores a Huge Victory by Unmasking RUM

For once, Camel isn’t the weak link. He realizes that the “harmless” sushi chef is actually RUM, the Organization’s second-in-command. It’s a massive breakthrough after several past blunders.

The big question: How can he escape and relay this intel before RUM strikes again?

1147 Review & Theory ③ – RUM Learns Camel Is Alive

On the flip side, RUM now knows Camel survived the “Black Organization’s Scheme” incident. His checklist is chillingly clear:

  • How did Camel cheat death two years ago?
  • Is Shuichi Akai still alive?

Even Camel’s iron will could crack under the Organization’s interrogation methods. If RUM confirms Akai’s survival, Kir would be exposed as a mole, plunging everyone into deeper peril. How this ticking time bomb is defused will decide the next chapter’s stakes.
