In FILE.0, “Hazui Kappuru” (tentative title), Shinichi Kudo sees Kaito and Aoko at Tropical Land. The scene connects the amusement-park episode from “Majikku Kaito” (tentative title) with events on the day before the first “Detective Conan” chapter.
Shinichi and Ran are not yet dating during their own Tropical Land visit, while Kaito and Aoko are also together without being a couple. The parallel places both boys beside their childhood friends before their ordinary lives are disrupted.
